Around 8:00 AM this morning #Al-Nusrah Front (#Al-Qaeda in #Syria) raided راديو فرش Radio Fresh and the Union of Revolutionary Bureaus (URB) buildings, arrested #Raed Fares the director of media center in #Kafranbel and #Hadi Abdullah, a prominent Syrian journalist.
Alnusrah let go the staff members after forcing them to step on the #Syrian Revolution flag, then they burned the flag.
Some people asked Al-Nusrah members why are you doing this, and the answer was “We don’t want Media”.
Al-Nusrah members took all computers, camera,electronic and other broadcasting equipment, and then painted “forfeited” on the building wall, meaning this building belongs to Al-Nusrah now.
Until writing this post, the Radio building was still surrounded by Alnusrah members, we were unable even to take a picture of it.
Hadi was taken to Al-Nusrah prison, while Raed’s location is till unknown.
We don’t know why Al-Nusrah did that, and will keep you posted for updates.
